LPW-II – Food Waste Scale for Smarter Monitoring

The LPW-II is a practical and robust food waste scale designed for easy weighing and registration of food waste in professional kitchens, restaurants, catering facilities and buffet environments. With a capacity of 30 kg and a readability of 5 g, the scale provides accurate and reliable weighing. The 300 × 400 mm stainless steel weighing platform is well suited for everyday use in professional kitchen environments.

The LPW-II can be used together with Generation Waste’s complete system for measuring and monitoring food waste. When food is discarded, it is weighed and easily registered via the tablet. The information is then collected in Generation Waste’s web portal, where the business can monitor statistics and analyse its food waste to identify where waste occurs and create better opportunities to reduce it.

The LPW-II features a backlit LCD display, zero, tare and accumulation functions. The scale can be powered by the included adapter or AA batteries and supports Bluetooth/RS232 communication, providing a flexible and user-friendly solution for businesses that want to work systematically and data-driven to reduce food waste.
